Combustion engine out: No wonder no one wants to buy electric cars – economy

Anyone who constantly questions the end of combustion engines and electromobility should not be surprised if car buyers also hesitate. Talk of “technology openness” is silly and damaging to the economy.

You can do that: constantly question the end of the combustion engine, always cheer for new, supposedly more sustainable fuels, preach “openness to technology” and advise against relying solely on electromobility. Federal Transport Minister Volker Wissing (FDP) is a professional at this, FDP General Secretary Bijan Djir-Sarai doesn’t like fueling populist debates anyway, Manfred Weber (EPP) clearly can’t think of any other EU election campaign topic – and now he feels the same still Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) encouragedto put their position on record.
