Colonialism: Remembrance and Responsibility – Media

To what extent have we as a society dealt with colonialism, especially with the German colonial past? Are we suffering from “colonial amnesia”? How has awareness of the injustice of the past and its consequences developed? And what role does the media play in this?

Communication scientist Nadia Zaboura talks about this with author and journalist Charlotte Wiedemann. Her current book is called: Understanding the pain of others. Holocaust and world memory.
