Sometimes circumstances change the perception of art. For example, in the exhibition “Entangled Pasts” at the Royal Academy in London, all the supervisors are black. Maybe it wouldn’t be noticed otherwise. But “Entangled Pasts” is an exhibition about “Art, Colonialism and Change” since 1768.
