Collien Ulmen-Fernandes and Christian Ulmen have been married for over ten years. Now she reveals how she masters her everyday marriage.
Collien Ulmen-Fernandes (40) and Christian Ulmen (46) have been married since 2011. Their daughter made the love of the two complete in 2012. But how do the two actors cope with their everyday life with relationships, children and jobs? “My husband is an active father,” enthuses Collien Ulmen-Fernandes in an interview with “Bild am Sonntag”.
“But he had no other choice either. Because I’m filming so much right now, Christian is automatically more involved in childcare,” explains the “Traumschiff” actress. As a parent, you are “always stressed and tired”. That’s why it’s “never really harmonious when you have children,” the 40-year-old openly admits. Scheduling with children is “virtually impossible”: “No one is actually relaxed about it.”
“I get excited more and more easily”
The actress can therefore get loud every now and then: “Unfortunately, I get upset more and more easily, that comes with age.” But despite the stress, the two seem to reconcile their marriage, child and job in their home in Potsdam. The distribution of tasks: “I’ll do the cooking and the laundry too. Christian takes care of the crafts, which means that he delegates the tasks to the craftsmen,” jokes Ulmen-Fernandes.
