Christian Eriksen celebrates a dream comeback in the Danish national team. After the game, an ugly incident occurs.
The Danish national player Christian Eriksen had a coin thrown at him during a TV interview after the test international match between the Netherlands and Denmark (4:2).
The TV images clearly showed how the coin narrowly missed Eriksen. “Was a coin just tossed? Unbelievable,” the 30-year-old midfielder reacted in shock to the incident. There is still no information about who tossed the coin.
Eriksen scores in comeback
Eriksen was 287 days after his cardiac arrest at last year’s European Championships last Saturday celebrated a dream comeback in the Danish national team.
Eriksen, who is under contract with Brentford FC in the Premier League, came on at half-time. With a dream goal in the left corner, the midfield strategist scored his 36th international goal a little later to make it 2:3 in the meantime, later he hit the post.
