Climate protection: Do warnings on products do more than climate labels?

Shopping in a climate-friendly way is not that easy. Researchers now have a new suggestion: warning labels on food. But are they really better than the well-known climate labels? Andreas Winkler from Foodwatch with an assessment.

Mr. Winkler, imagine the following: You are standing in the supermarket and there is a picture of a forest fire on the package of ground beef. Would you still buy the product?
It is difficult to answer such a hypothetical question. I know what harmful effects too much meat consumption can have on the climate and health. And many people probably feel the same way.
