The upcoming government, at least as the promises from the election campaign suggest, will make climate protection a much more political issue than before. At the same time, however, a trend will continue, the beginnings of which were ridiculed a few years ago: climate protection is now also a task of the judiciary. The brilliant decision of the Federal Constitutional Court in the spring removed any doubts that the courts also have an important say in saving the world.
