Climate activists again blocked traffic in downtown Munich on Thursday morning. A total of 17 people – the youngest 18 years old, the oldest 79 – sat down and taped themselves to the Stachus between the fountain and the Palace of Justice around 10:30 a.m., thus blocking traffic in both directions. Police officers blocked Sonnenstrasse and diverted the cars over a wide area before they detached the demonstrators from the ground and took them away. In the meantime, the officials have become routine.
