Clémence Botino, Miss France 2020, will represent France this Sunday evening

Clémence Botino, Miss France 2020, will represent France during this 70th edition which takes place in Eilat, Israel. Iris Mittenaere, Miss Universe 2016, will be part of the jury.

As reported LCI this weekend, the French candidate has already caused a sensation during the parade in national costume on Friday evening. Resplendent, Clémence Botino appeared dressed in a costume paying homage to Josephine Baker. “She was an artist who deeply loved her art. I wanted to represent a very modern Josephine, with lots of nods to her costumes, ”she explained to the news site.

She also participated in the preselection events in a swimsuit and evening dress, viewers will find out this Sunday evening if she is among the finalists.

A reign marked by the Covid-19

If the Miss will indeed represent France, her participation was still uncertain a few days ago. For good reason, when he arrived at the site of the competition at the end of November, Clémence Botino had tested positive for Covid-19 and placed in isolation. “I am a positive, determined person, I work very hard and I give myself body and soul. The last two years have been strewn with hardships, but this one is tough (…) I am the Miss Covid, we have never been so close to the truth ”, explained the young woman on Instagram, reported LCI.

As a reminder, the young woman was elected Miss France in December 2019, just a few weeks before the pandemic.
