Interviewed by

The current edition of the world art show Documenta, which is curated by the Indonesian artist collective Ruangrupa, has been the subject of criticism for weeks. There is an accusation of anti-Semitism. The dispute escalated in the media on the opening weekend after a speech by the Federal President, who reprimanded the curators and those responsible for “careless” dealings with Israel and criticized the lack of supervision. Minister of State for Culture Claudia Roth was there in Kassel herself.
