Clash, injustice, homage… What are the challenges of the final?

This Friday evening ends season 13 of “Dancing with the Stars” on TF1. Three couples are still in the running – Inès Reg and Christophe Licata, Natasha St-Pier and Anthony Colette, Nico Capone and Inès Vandamme – but, at the stroke of 11:30 p.m., there will only be one left to succeed Billy Crawford.

What are the challenges of this final? Let’s get rid of the question that has consumed this entire season: the rivalry between Inès Reg and Natasha St-Pier following a clash during rehearsals. The episode was very widely commented on and analyzed, the two candidates spoke on this subject on numerous occasions. Officially, the incident is closed and the rivalry between the two protagonists will be resolved, amicably, on the floor.

You are, of course, allowed not to believe a word of this TF1 storytelling… However, if you watch the finale hoping for a new clash or an explanation of the incident, you will be disappointed.

Since the images that everyone would like to see (the famous altercation between “the little girl” and Natasha St-Pier) will not be broadcast, we will have to settle for other issues in this finale. We found three.

Does Nico Capone have a card to play?

He’s the third finalist and no one talks about him. However, the comedian of Swiss origin did not deserve to get there. His performances have often been praised and his victory would round off a great journey. It would also allow a beneficial draw between Inès Reg and Natasha St-Pier.

Finally, a final element of drama was added to all this with the fatigue injury of his partner Inès Vandamme. The dancer has in fact published a video where she explains having injured herself. It must be said that this will be, for her, her second final in a few weeks since she was also in the running during the final of the version Internet stars of the show.

Has Keiona digested her elimination?

Eliminated at the gates of the final while many saw her as the ideal winner, the drag queen did not fail to cry injustice the previous week after critical comments from Chris Marques on her performance. After winning season 2 of Drag Race FranceKeiona is the revelation of this season and knows it.

She doesn’t have her tongue in her pocket (“I am the Queen of France”she declared after her elimination) and could take advantage of this final to remind us that she should have been the queen of “DALS 2024”… It would certainly be a tasty moment.

Tribute to those missing from the program

Every year it’s the same: the intensity of the last broadcasts makes us forget the beginnings of the season. Who remembers the first ones eliminated? Who can name an emblematic dance by James Denton, this season’s “American star”? The final is always an opportunity to see the faces, and certain performances, of the entire cast: Caroline Margeridon, first eliminated, Coeur de Pirate who greatly disappointed, Diane Leyre, the late Cristina Cordula, Adeline Toniutti, the bad losing Black M, James Denton, Roman Doduik and Keiona, therefore.
