City of Dachau does not take part in model project against hatred and hate speech – Dachau

Employees of the city of Dachau often have to put up with disrespectful comments or aggressive behavior from citizens. But the city councilors refuse to take part in a model project to better protect the administration from hate and hate speech.

Internet trolls have already targeted the mayor of Dachau, Florian Hartmann (SPD). For years, Islamophobic and right-wing extremists have been able to spread their hatred online on the “Nuremberg 2.0 Germany” pillory platform. They threatened to hold journalists, politicians, artists, companies and organizations “accountable” and to bring them before a court because they allegedly promote the “Islamization of Germany”. Among other things, they publish Hartmann’s name on a blacklist, as well as the round table against racism, the working group Asylum Dachau and the youth center Freiraum. The operators of “Nuremberg 2.0” deleted the name of Walter Lübcke, the former Kassel district president, from the list without comment after his murder.
