The state government’s patient commissioner, member of the state parliament Peter Bauer (Free Voters), and the BRK blood donation service hope that the blood donation appointments in the country can continue to take place to the extent required despite the pandemic. “Strict hygiene and distance rules still apply to blood donation appointments,” said Bauer. A donation can also be made before or after a vaccination.
