The quartet of actors has already been chosen for the planned “Fantastic Four” remake, and more stars are now joining the superhero spectacle from Marvel’s comic universe.

The star cast for the long-planned “Fantastic Four” film from the Marvel comic universe continues to grow. The US actress Natasha Lyonne (45), known from films and series such as “Irresistible”, “Orange Is The New Black” and “Matryoshka”, is set to take on a role in the superhero film, as US trade publications reported.

According to Variety, details about her appearance are not yet known. The “Hollywood Reporter” also reported that British actor Ralph Ineson will play the villain Galactus. Julia Garner, Paul Walter-Hauser and John Malkovich are also said to be on board.

In February, Marvel Studios announced the core cast of Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn. Pascal plays the elastic Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), Kirby plays the strong Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman), Moss-Bachrach becomes Ben Grimm (The Thing) and Quinn becomes Johnny Storm (The Human Torch). The film, directed by Matt Shakman (“WandaVision”), is scheduled to hit theaters in July 2025.

The Fantastic Four superheroes were created as comic characters by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1961. There were films about the quartet in 2005, 2007 and most recently in 2015. The characters who have mutated into superheroes are Human Torch, the fire person, Invisible Woman, the invisible woman with superpowers, the boulder creature The Thing and Mr. Fantastic, who can expand his body at will.
