Cinderella: “Three Nuts for Cinderella” was filmed here

Watch the video: “Three Nuts for Cinderella” was filmed in these places.

“Three hazelnuts for Cinderella” is one of the Christmas classics par excellence.
For many, the cult film from 1973 is part of the festival program.
But why not just slip into Cinderella’s shoes yourself and visit the places where the film was made?
Moritzburg Castle near Dresden served as the prince’s castle during the filming.
The film was only shot outdoors, but since 2009 there has been an exhibition on the fairy tale film during the winter months.
The film is a co-production of Czechoslovakia and GDR. Not surprising that some of the locations are in what is now the Czech Republic.
This also applies to the farm where Cinderella lives with her father, her wicked stepmother and her stepsister. Švihov Castle served as a backdrop here.
Parts of the film were also shot in the nearby town of Klatovy and the Barrandov Studios in Prague.
Some scenes of the fairy tale film were also created in the Bohemian Forest.
Some key moments of the classic were filmed in the oldest large-scale film studio in the world and the largest film studio in Europe, the Studio Babelsberg in Potsdam.
