In many department stores the shelves are empty for books, shoes and refrigerators there are delivery problems – An alternative could be to use used items for Christmas presents. It’s also more sustainable. But many find it difficult. Linda Kaiser, deputy chairwoman of the German Knigge Society, explains how not to look stingy with second-hand gifts.
