Cher fans have a lot to look forward to at Christmas this year. She provides the soundtrack for the festival on her album “Christmas”.
A few months ago, Cher (77) announced her first Christmas album, and now the Warner Music label is providing more detailed details about the eagerly awaited work. It has the simple title “Christmas” and is scheduled to hit the market on October 20th. To get in the mood, this Friday (October 6th) The lead single “DJ Play A Christmas Song” has already been released.
Festive duets with Michael Bublé and Stevie Wonder
In addition to well-known Christmas classics, the pop icon’s first Christmas album also contains four original compositions. For her musical Christmas party, the singer brought various high-profile guests such as Michael Bublé (48), Stevie Wonder (73) and Cyndi Lauper (70) into the studio.
A special highlight is a duet of the classic “What Christmas Means To Me” with Stevie Wonder. The singer’s statement says: “Every time I hear this harmonica, I’m a teenager again. Recording this song with Stevie… it’s a personal dream come true for me.”

Cher seems completely satisfied with her 27th studio album. “I never say this about my own albums, but I’m really proud of this one,” enthuses the entertainer. “It’s one of the greatest highlights of my career.”
