A 16-year-old skier from Upper Bavaria died after a skiing accident in Tyrol. The teenager from Beilngries (Eichstätt district) fell onto the slopes while riding over a freestyle jump in the Christlum ski area near Achenkirch, a spokeswoman for the Tyrolean state police said on Tuesday.
The 16-year-old was resuscitated on site after the accident on Friday and taken to a clinic in Innsbruck by helicopter. She died there on Monday.
