Christine Westermann reads in her column “Little Problems”

Presenter, journalist and author Christine Westermann loves books. Here she presents her new discoveries every two weeks. This time: “Little Problems” by Nele Pollatschek.

“It doesn’t really matter what the weather was like. So, it was drizzling. Of course it was drizzling, German December, what do you expect.” These sentences speak from my heart.

I would have wanted to phrase it something similar. Nele Pollatschek, the author of “Little Problems”, took over for me. They are the first three sentences of her new novel. The book sat on my desk for weeks, something always came up: other books, a podcast, a broken dishwasher, a birthday, a Christmas party, just life.
