Christine Thürmer has earned a lot of money reorganizing companies. Then she got out – and has been wandering the world ever since. A conversation about their prefabricated building, sawn off toothbrushes and the stupid attempt to find themselves while hiking.

Christine Thürmer comes, you can hardly believe it, by tram. She of all people, who calls herself “the most hiked woman in the world” and has already walked more than 58,000 kilometers. The 54-year-old spends almost exactly half of the year hiking, the other half she lives in her prefab apartment in Berlin-Marzahn. She’s not hiking at the moment. She’s on vacation.
