Christina Block’s two children were brought to Germany from Denmark. The Danish judiciary draws its conclusions from this. Block’s lawyer makes serious allegations.

A court in Denmark has reached a court in the custody dispute over two children of steakhouse chain heiress Christina Block According to information from “Zeit Online”, the decision was made in an expedited procedure that full custody should be transferred to the father. Because the children are now in Germany with their mother, a German court must decide on their repatriation, the portal reports. Denmark had previously issued a European arrest warrant for Christina Block.

Christina Block’s lawyer, Mark F. Seghezzi, sharply criticized the Danish judiciary: “With the issuance of the arrest warrant, the Danish institutions are consistently and persistently continuing on the path they have been following for almost 2.5 years of representing an incorrect legal opinion,” he told the “Bild” newspaper.

According to a ruling by the Hamburg Higher Regional Court, Christina Block has the right to determine the place of residence for the two children who have now been kidnapped from Denmark. However, Danish authorities have come to the conclusion that the children are staying with their father voluntarily – and have therefore not implemented the ruling from Hamburg. Therefore, Christina Block presumably hired a team that brought the children from Denmark to Germany.

Incident regarding Christina Block’s children

According to the report from “Zeit Online”, there was an incident at the father’s property in Denmark in November. Employees of a company appeared there who claimed to be service providers for “specific security requirements”.

They said that there was an offer from the company that spoke of “support in the repatriation of two children in accordance with a legal decision from Denmark, with a decision on the right of residence from Germany.” A spokeswoman for the company was quoted by “Zeit Online” as saying that it was a “benevolent repatriation”. “We accompanied the Block family and were simply supposed to ensure personal protection.”
