Again “Man of the Year” in “Playboy”
For the second time in a row, Professor Christian Drosten has been named “Man of the Year” by the men’s magazine “Playboy”.

Christian Drosten is one of the faces of the pandemic. Now he has again received the title of “Man of the Year” from “Playboy”.
Title defense for Christian Drosten (49): According to “Playboy”, the top virologist will also be “Man of the Year” in 2021. That was the result of a representative survey by the polling institute Norstat, which the men’s magazine commissioned. Accordingly, 23.6 percent of those surveyed voted for the head of the Institute for Virology at the Berlin Charité.
With this, Professor Drosten is defending his top position, which he already held last year. In second place in the voting – and just behind Drosten – also landed a scientist who became known nationwide during the corona pandemic: BioNTech boss and vaccine developer Ugur Sahin (56) received 23.3 percent of the votes.
