Harry Styles got the role of Eros in The Eternals, and it is absolutely not a choice of the bosses of Marvel who would have liked to take advantage of the hype surrounding the singer. In fact, Chloe Zhao had wanted to work with the former One Direction ever since she saw him in Dunkirk by Christopher Nolan.

So this is how Harry Styles joined the impressive cast of The Eternals which also includes Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, and Salma Hayek. The plot features a group of immortal heroes forced to come to light in order to fight the Deviants, their evil equivalent who, as if by chance, have a sudden desire to destroy humanity.
In this first opus, the singer appears only very briefly but it could be that he takes more importance in the next films of the franchise. The Eternals has been in theaters since November 3.
