The world’s largest drone manufacturer DJI from China has suspended its business in Russia and Ukraine. The technology company from Hangzhou “internally checks the fulfillment of requirements in the various jurisdictions,” according to a statement on its website. Meanwhile, DJI is “temporarily” ceasing its business activities in Russia and Ukraine. With the drone producer, a prominent Chinese company is withdrawing from the war zone. China’s position is disputed: the Chinese leadership is giving Russian President Vladimir Putin political backing and rather presents the USA and the eastward expansion of NATO as the main problem.
