He was the head of the People’s Republic for ten years. China’s former head of state and party leader Jiang Zemin has died at the age of 96.
China’s former President Jiang Zemin is dead. The longtime head of state died at the age of 96, the state news agency Xinhua reported on Wednesday. Jiang Zemin led China from the late 1980s to the new century during a period of great upheaval in the country.
