In the fight with Bolivia, Colombia, Uruguay and Peru for the fourth qualifying place for the 2022 World Cup in the AmSud zone, Chile went to win against the Bolivians on Tuesday (3-2). A very valuable success which allows the teammates of Alexis Sanchez, author of a double, to temporarily return to the place of play-off, one point behind the Peruvians.
Conversely, this setback condemns Bolivia to a miracle to hope to go to Qatar next November. Four days remain to be played and two tickets as well as a play-off place remain to be distributed behind Brazil and Argentina.
