The conditions of the event are still unclear, but the damage is already substantial. A bus crashed into a daycare center in a town on the outskirts of Montreal on Wednesday morning, and several children present at the scene were seriously injured, Quebec relief said.
“A large perimeter has been deployed” around the partially destroyed building, police in the city of Laval, where the daycare center is located, told AFP. According to the Minister of Public Security of Quebec, François Bonnardel, the driver of the bus was placed under arrest.
