Two children brought a runaway three-year-old to safety in the Upper Palatinate. The little girl was in Furth im Wald (Cham district) with her mother in the supermarket and ran away from there, the police said on Tuesday. A nine-year-old girl and a ten-year-old boy saw the little one alone on a sidewalk a little later on Monday and spoke to her. Finally, they informed a woman who was sitting in her car nearby about the runaway child. The woman called the police, who eventually took the three-year-old back to her relieved mother.
