Childcare in the district of Ebesrberg: New course for childminders – Ebersberg

Experiencing and supporting small children in their development is a fulfilling and a particularly important social task. Childminders look after up to five children in their own household – and thus not only form an important pillar in the network of childcare facilities. Small groups for children from zero to three years also offer ideal conditions from a pedagogical and developmental psychological point of view because they are family-like. In addition to their high level of responsibility, childminders also have very special working conditions: their workplace is their own household and their child takes part in family life.

The KBW Ebersberg, in cooperation with the District Youth Welfare Office Ebersberg, offers the part-time qualification to become a childminder. This includes 160 teaching units, which take place in the evenings and on weekends in the office of the Catholic district education center in Ebersberg, partly also in online format. Speakers with many years of experience pass on their knowledge to the participants using a variety of methods. The qualification is completed with the federal certificate for child day care.

The next qualification starts (subject to the required number of participants) on September 23rd, the detailed dates are on the homepage at www.kbw-ebersberg.de apparent. The prerequisite for registering for a course is a personal aptitude and informational interview at the counseling center in Ebersberg Youth Welfare Office. Manuela Käsbohrer can be reached on (08092) 82 35 04 or by email to [email protected]. After receiving written confirmation from the specialist advice service, interested parties register with the Ebersberg District Education Center for child day care qualifications on (08092) 85 07 90 or by e-mail to [email protected].

The qualification takes place subject to the required number of participants. The individual dates of the teaching units are on the KBW homepage www.kbw-erbersberg.de to find. The cost of the entire training is 980 euros, payable in four installments; there is the possibility of subsidies from the district youth welfare office.
