A child under two years old died Saturday afternoon in Rennes after falling from the 16th floor of a high-rise apartment building, we learned from the police and firefighters.
The drama took place shortly before 3 p.m. It is a witness who alerted the firefighters.
A gendarme then the firefighters tried in vain to resuscitate the child, who was to celebrate his two years in December, and a doctor declared his death. The young victim fell 48 meters from the family apartment located in a tower in the Bréquigny district, in Rennes.
