Innocent in court – this horror was experienced by 25 people accused of alleged child abuse in the 1990s. The abuse never existed, but the stigma still clings to them today.
From 1994 to 1997, 25 people from Worms and the surrounding area stood before the court who had been charged with mass child abuse. Above all, there were parents on trial who allegedly wronged their own children and whose families were therefore torn apart. All of whom were innocent – and then acquitted.
But the flaw of this process still sticks to many families, says court reporter Gisela Friedrichsen in the podcast “Today important”. She followed the processes at the time and says: “If you are in one of these [Missbrauchs-]Trial is accused – it sticks to you for life. And people say something will have been there. Unusual measures against skills shortages
More and more companies are complaining about a shortage of skilled workers. In a study by the Bertelsmann Foundation, 66 percent of the companies surveyed stated that they did not have enough staff with professional training; the health and care sector is particularly affected. In order to attract new employees, companies come up with more and more unusual measures, says labor market expert Frauke Holzmeier. In Thale in Saxony-Anhalt, for example, there would be a professional speed dating in which applicants: inside with different employers: inside ride the cable car to get to know each other. Company cars are also being added to the job more and more often. But such offers are not new either, says Holzmeier, and so far they have not shown any success.
