Chicken nuggets that may contain pen pieces recalled across France

The Rappel Conso site issued a recall sheet on Wednesday concerning chicken nuggets sold throughout France between February 18 and March 9. They could contain pen debris. The products, under the Secrets Volailles brand, have been marketed under the name “Chicken nuggets from Hauts-de-France” by Atac, Auchan, Simply, Carrefour and Système U, among others.

Risk of injury

In total, sixteen references are listed by Rappel Conso, with expiry dates set at March 10 and 14. The nuggets were offered in trays or boxes, depending on the store.

It is strongly recommended not to consume chicken nuggets. The presence of foreign bodies in the nuggets could lead to injury or adverse reactions. Customers can return the meat to the store for a refund or contact consumer service on 03 21 35 99 33.
