Cheyenne Ochsenknecht has to leave “Let’s Dance” and cries bitter tears

Cheyenne Ochsenknecht left “Let’s Dance”. In an interview right after the dance show ended, tears flowed. Supposedly primarily because a friend was crying too.
Actually, she wanted to make it further than her brother Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, who left 2018 after show five. But model and reality TV actress Cheyenne Ochsenknecht and her dance professional Evgeny Vinokurov had to leave the dance show “Let’s Dance” on Friday evening after the second selection show.
Cheyenne Ochsenknecht: “I’m extremely surprised”
“I’m extremely surprised,” she said in an interview with the broadcaster after the end. The Ochsenknecht-Nesthäkchen and the professional dancer together earned only 15 jury points. Before the decision, Ochsenknecht even posted an Instagram story from the backstage area in the middle of the show that she would very much like to be part of the next show and would be happy to hear from viewers. Nevertheless, too few of the Ochsenknecht fans called, even though the well-known German family is again making headlines across Germany with their new reality TV show “Dies Ochsenknechts”.
She added a little more specifically: “I don’t want to say that there were dancers or couples who were worse than me, but I just didn’t expect to get kicked out.” There were tears in her eyes. “I’m not sad now, but of course I’ve already made a lot of friends and I’m very close with Sarah and she cried now. Then I have to cry too,” she explained her mood. With Sarah she meant the prominent “Let’s Dance” participant, actress Mangione.
A little later, Cheyenne Ochsenknecht and Evgeny Vinokurov were able to smile again, like them in a clip on Instagram shows, which she comments with “Team Oxigen forever”. On Saturday morning, the mother of a little daughter reported back with a story posting in which she writes: “I have to let everything sink in first”, apparently the dance show is closer to her than she admits in the first interview afterwards yesterday would like.
