Unlimited celebrations on Friday evening in Cherson in southern Ukraine. The Russian army was withdrawn after months and residents celebrate the arrival of Ukrainian soldiers. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday called the recapture of the city of Kherson an outstanding event and said it was a historic day. The country’s armed forces are standing in front of the city, which is already home to special forces. Earlier, an advance guard of the Ukrainian army had reached the western bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region, the Ukrainian General Staff announced on Facebook.
