Chelsea: Juventus are interested in Jorginho transfer

The Bianconeri want to bring Jorginho back to Serie A. This has been confirmed by the Chelsea star’s agent.
Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has attracted interest from Juventus. This was confirmed by his advisor Joao Santos calciomercato.com. The medium-term future of the Italy international depends on how the uncertain future at the Blues develops, the agent explained. Jorginho is currently tied to Chelsea until 2023 and is actually aiming for a contract extension.
“I haven’t spoken to Juve yet but I know of interest in Jorginho,” revealed Santos. “If Chelsea don’t manage to extend him, we will listen to what other teams offer.”

Because of the sanctions against Still-club owner Roman Abramovich May Chelsea currently not conducting contract negotiations with its players. Santos said: “The contract runs until 2023. It’s a difficult situation for the club and there are no talks. The market is closed for Chelsea on both sides at the moment.”
In principle, however, Jorginho is not aiming for a change, according to Santos: “When the situation relaxes, an extension will be a priority.”
Reigning European Footballer of the Year Jorginho has played for Chelsea since 2018. At the time, he followed his promoter Maurizio Sarri from Napoli to Stamford Bridge for a fee of 57 million euros. Since then, the European champions have won the Champions League and the Club World Cup with the Londoners.
