- The final of Koh Lanta: The Legend was broadcast this Tuesday evening on TF1. This 2021 season of the adventure game was, as usual, divided into two parts: a first tour in Polynesia a few months ago, with the formidable test of the posts between the three finalists, and a second part in the studio, in Paris, for the counting of the final vote this very Tuesday.
- During the traditional pole test, it was Laurent Maistret who proved to be the most tenacious against Claude, who fell first, and Ugo, who subsequently broke down. Cheating in Koh Lanta The Legend
Koh Lanta La Légende has gradually transformed into “Koh Lanta: La Cheating”. The “All Stars” season 2021, filmed at the beginning of the year in French Polynesia on the motus facing the island of Tahaa, will have accumulated revelations relating to cheating occurring on the sidelines of the filming. Teheiura will be the first candidate excluded from the game. Asked by the production a few weeks before the end of the adventure, he will assume facing the camera that he has received food twice. According to one of the articles published by The Parisian, “four to five candidates” took advantage of the evenings of advice to make trips to the inhabitant on the island of Raiatea. The newspaper will reveal that these candidates, initially anonymous, were then received by residents. “On the menu: salty, sweet and energy drinks galore. The photo of a clandestine meal at the heart of the investigation
After the revelations of the press, the production of Koh Lanta decided to open an investigation into the cheating which it had not yet heard of before. Le Parisien explains in particular that visual proof would have been consulted by Adventure Line Production: a photograph which would show Laurent Maistret at a table filled with a lot of food, in the company of Claude Dartois and two other candidates who will remain unnamed. This photograph would have been initially taken by the couple who would have hosted these clandestine meals, then sent by SMS to Laurent Maistret himself.
Laurent and Claude would have threatened a strike on the set
The revelations about Koh Lanta: The Legend won’t stop there. In a new article published on December 14, a few hours before the broadcast of the Koh Lanta 2021 final, The Parisian unveiled new information explaining that Claude and Laurent would have threatened the production to strike or even quit the adventure if they did not get pastries in addition to the food obtained for the whole team, after a test of comfort. Behind the scenes, the blackmail of Claude and Laurent would have paid off, the production having yielded to their demands according to Le Parisien.

Koh Lanta is an adventure game broadcast since 2001 on TF1. It was presented by Hubert Auriol for the first season. Since 2002, Denis Brogniart has been responsible for running the program. Several adventurers try to survive on a desert island until the final.
