Slash has recorded a blues album – and landed straight in second place. The guitarist only had to admit defeat to superstar Billie Eilish.

With her new album “Hit Me Hard And Soft” superstar Billie Eilish went straight to the top of the German album charts. It is the US musician’s second number one record after “Happier Than Ever”, as GfK Entertainment announced. The 22-year-old beat out Slash – the Guns N’ Roses guitarist entered the charts in second place with “Orgy Of The Damned”.

Another guitarist, Slayer founding member Kerry King, makes it to number three. “From Hell I Rise” is the debut album of his newly formed combo. The compilation “Sing meinen Song – Das Tauschkonzert, Vol. 11” (four) and Portishead singer Beth Gibbons (“Lives Outgrown”, five) follow in the next places.

According to GfK Entertainment, Ayliva & Apache 207 dominate the singles ranking for the fourth time in a row with “Wunder”. Behind them are the British singer Artemas (“I Like The Way You Kiss Me”, two) and the Australian DJ and producer Cyril (“Stumblin’ In”, three). The highest new entry is achieved by Billie Eilish with “Lunch” in fifth place.
