In the spin-off of the gay dating show “Prince Charming”, singles go looking for the right person again. All the facts about “Charming Boys”.

The dating formats “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” have long had their own spin-off with “Bachelor in Paradise”. In it, former candidates go looking for love again. Ex-candidates of the gay dating show “Prince Charming” are now also getting this second chance. How does “Charming Boys” work and who is moving into the Turtle villa?

In the spin-off, 17 singles will gradually move into a villa on Koh Samui, Thailand. Among those willing to flirt are on the one hand the all-stars and thus ex-candidates of past “Prince Charming” seasons, on the other hand newcomers who are new to the “Prince Charming” cosmos. All men get to know each other, have to prove themselves as a team in “Ga(y)mes” and can retreat to the Charming Suite for togetherness. RTL also suggests that candidates may have had a dalliance before the show or still have “legacy issues” to clear up.

In 2019, the first “Prince Charming” season started with Prince Nicolas Puschmann (32). Three more seasons followed with Princes Alexander Schäfer, Kim Tränka and Fabian Fuchs, who last went in search of Mr. Right in 2022. It wasn’t always enough for great love, which is why the Allstars also include winners from previous seasons.

These are the “Charming Boys” 2023

Moving in on show one are all-stars Aaron, 28, and Martin, 29, from season one, Kevin, 33, and Jan, 28, from season three, and Philippe, 30, and runner-up Tim, 26, from season four. Among the newcomers are Pitzi (32), Sebastian (35) and Rudi (36).

In the other episodes, Gino (35) and Jan Maik (33) from season two, Maurice (24) from season three and Basti (23) from season four move in. The latter two each won their season. Leon (28), Lukas (23), Nik (31) and Vladi (36) will join as newcomers.

Even with “Charming Boys” no roses are awarded on the evening of the decision, but ties. The charming boy, who at the end of a gentlemen’s night is not given a tie and is not part of a couple, has to say goodbye to the villa. In the end, two men are chosen as the Charming Couple 2023 and are allowed to take home 10,000 euros.

From June 15th RTL+ one of ten episodes of “Charming Boys” available for download every week.
