His comeback is already under way and now Charlie Sheen reveals that it won’t be enough. He wants the spotlight.

The fallen superstar Charlie Sheen (58) is pushing back into the spotlight. The actor gave it all in one Interview with “People” magazine. He is “absolutely ready” for new roles: “For the longest time I had the best reputation at work. I was the first to arrive and the last to leave.” He’s really looking forward to being that guy again. Sheen has already landed her first small part. He will appear in two episodes of the upcoming Chuck Lorre comedy series “How to Be a Bookie,” as was announced at the beginning of September. The series will have eight episodes in total. The first two episodes have already been published on the streaming portal Max. The following six issues will be available until December 21st.

Although he almost completely withdrew from the public eye many years ago and battled his alcohol and drug addiction, he knows that it is out of his hands whether his comeback will work in the end: “Everything I can control is my reaction to things, which in and of itself is a daily struggle.” That’s why he doesn’t develop any “wild fantasies” about where the future will take him: “I just live in this moment, in this experience, and if a new opportunity arises from that, that’s great.” And if not? “Then maybe I’ll go out and create the next opportunity,” Sheen said.

Reconciliation with star producer Chuck Lorre

Sheen owes his involvement in the HBO Max comedy series “How to Be a Bookie” to his former “Two and a Half Men” producer Chuck Lorre (71), who kicked him out in 2011 because of his erratic behavior and his Crash sealed. After his expulsion, Sheen described his ex-boss in interviews as a “pile of shit” and a “clown,” among other things. But the two have now been able to reconcile – not least because Sheen is changing.

“For a while there wasn’t much to complain about in my life,” Sheen says. But his “demons and obsession” changed everything. Even today he would be ashamed of his past behavior and he wouldn’t have expected that Lorre would call him about a new role at some point. But he seized the opportunity that presented itself to end the dispute.

“Chuck reached out to me and said, ‘Hey, it’s time to bury the hatchet. It’s time for us to hug and remember the great things we did together.'” Man I made a lot of people happy together and really left behind a solid piece of work. When they met again on the studio lot for the first time in years, both of them just “gleamed”. It was almost “surreal” for him to return, says Sheen.
