Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) will start from pole position in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on Sunday, the 4th round of the Formula 1 season, after setting the best qualifying time on Friday.
Leclerc will start ahead of Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull) for the first sprint weekend of the season. On this occasion, the qualifications were brought forward to Friday, with a novelty this year since they determine the starting grid for the GP on Sunday. The sprint grid will be determined after a second qualifying session, held on Saturday.
