An unmissable event in the Formula 1 world championship, the Monaco Grand Prix is one of the discipline’s most legendary events. Unlike many other races which take place on a circuit entirely dedicated to the practice of this motor sport, the Monaco Grand Prix takes place in the heart of the city, which makes overtaking extremely difficult for the various drivers involved in the race. While qualifying took place on Saturday May 27, 2023, which drew many celebrities to the Rock, the race was held the following day. There too, many stars made the trip to the principality to admire the talent of the drivers at the wheel of their respective single-seaters.

As usual, Prince Albert of Monaco and Princess Charlene were both present to attend this emblematic event on the Rock. The race finally ended with the victory of the reigning world champion, Max Verstappen, thus allowing the Red Bull team to consolidate its leading position in the constructors’ classification. For his part, the living legend of Formula 1, Fernando Alonso, came second. Finally, the French driver Esteban Ocon completed the podium. Not surprisingly, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene came to reward all these runners by handing them their respective trophies. On this occasion, the former swimming champion did not fail to get noticed thanks to her outfit. Indeed, the mother of Jacques and Gabriella had opted for a small navy blue split dress with multicolored stripes. She also wore electric blue high heels.

No more blond for the princess

The 45-year-old former swimmer also opted for very light makeup, while spectators at the Monaco Grand Prix had the opportunity to discover her new hair color. After being blonde for a long time, Charlene de Monaco has now gone dark brown. For his part, Prince Albert was dressed in a very sober way, with a white shirt accompanied by a black jacket and a tie, all matched with beige pants. As a reminder, Princess Charlene was unfortunately unable to be present during the 2021 edition of the Monaco Grand Prix. That year, Prince Albert’s wife was stuck in her native South Africa due to an ENT infection that prevented her from flying back to the Rock.
