Charlène went on a trip with her husband Albert and the children for her birthday. There was also a sweet surprise.

A huge birthday cake for Princess Charlène of Monaco (46): The palace published on the 46th birthday of Prince Albert’s (65) wife a picture on Instagram in which the couple can be seen with the twins Princess Gabriella (9) and Prince Jacques (9). You marvel at a multi-tiered cake decorated with flowers and butterflies. The family snapshot was apparently taken at the Marché de la Condamine. According to the accompanying text, Charlène celebrated her birthday there with her family.

Princess Charlène wore a light brown, long quilted vest on the outing, which she combined with a gray sweater and scarf. Her daughter joined the color combination with a brown coat and gray turtleneck. Albert II appeared in a classic suit; in the photo he was putting a hand on his son’s shoulder, dressed in a light sweater. The palace also previously shared on Instagram public congratulations for Charlène, together with a portrait of the princess.

The twins will be ten years old this year

Charlène and Prince Albert II married on July 1, 2011, and the church wedding followed the day after. The twins Gabriella and Jacques were born in December 2014. In an interview with “Monaco-Matin” last September, her mother revealed more about her children’s personalities: “Gabriella is quite spontaneous, she has a certain self-confidence. Jacques is very reserved, but very attentive.” The princess further explained: “They complement each other to a certain extent and are gradually winning over those around them. But they are still young and are developing further from day to day.” Regarding her children’s sporting preferences, Charlène said that Gabriella was passionate about hip-hop dance and Jacques practiced taekwondo. “It’s about giving them a good education, self-confidence and a happy childhood.”
