Channing Tatum dances again as a stripper in front of the camera in “Magic Mike’s Last Dance”.
Channing Tatum (41) becomes the stripper “Magic Mike” again. The actor announced this on Instagram. He published a picture of the cover of the script for “Magic Mike’s Last Dance”. According to the title, it could be Tatum’s last film in this role.
As with the first part “Magic Mike” from 2012, Steven Soderbergh (58) will direct. In 2015 the follow-up “Magic Mike XXL” was released, directed by Gregory Jacobs. As with both predecessors, the script was written by Reid Carolin (39).
“Magic Mike’s Last Dance” is not coming to the cinema
The first two parts together brought in more than 250 million euros internationally. However, the film will not be released in theaters, but will start directly on the US streaming service HBO Max, reports the industry magazine “Deadline”.
Details of the possible action are not yet available. In addition, it is currently not known which other actors could play or return. When “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” will be shown is also still uncertain. For this, the reality format “Finding Magic Mike” will start on the streaming service on December 16. Ten men have the chance to win prize money. The winner can also appear in Las Vegas on “Magic Mike Live”.
