After the recent disappointing performances of the former Cologne player, coach Edin Terzic relies on Youssoufa Moukoko up front. Compared to the 2: 3 at 1. FC Köln at the weekend, Terzic also chooses a somewhat more defensive variant and lets Emre Can start in midfield for the offensive Donyell Malen.
As expected, regular keeper Gregor Kobel is only on the bench after surviving an injury break. The Swiss is likely to return to goal in the prestige Bundesliga duel against Bayern Munich on Saturday. Like last time, substitute keeper Alexander Meyer is in BVB’s goal in Seville.
