After the 1:4 in Newcastle, Paris Saint-Germain is successful again in the Champions League. Superstar Mbappé initiated the victory against AC Milan. Haaland also scores again for Manchester City.

Paris Saint-Germain is also in the spotlight thanks to football superstar Kylian Mbappé Champions League back on track.

The French beat AC Milan 3-0 (1-0) and moved up to first place in Dortmund’s Group F. Mbappé (32nd minute), former Frankfurt player Randal Kolo Muani (53rd) and Lee Kang-in (89th) scored the goals for PSG.

Defending champions Manchester City and FC Barcelona are also on the way to the knockout phase. City won their away game at Young Boys Bern 3-1 (0-0), Barcelona had previously won 2-1 (2-0) against Shakhtar Donetsk. Ex-Dortmund players Manuel Akanji (48th) and Erling Haaland (67th/foul penalty/86th) scored the goals for the English, who took their third win in the third game. Meschack Elia (52nd) scored for the Swiss, who are now five points behind second-placed Leipzig.

Barça also continues to have a clean slate

Like City, Barça have not yet given up any points in this premier class season. Ferran Torres (28th) and Fermín López (36th) scored for the Catalans, who will host Real Madrid in the Clásico on Saturday. Georgiy Sudakov (62nd) scored the next goal for the Ukrainians, who gave Barcelona their first goal of this premier class season. National team captain Ilkay Gündogan played through at Barça.

Feyenoord Rotterdam also achieved an important success in the race for the round of 16. The Dutch champions defeated Lazio Rome 3:1 (2:0). Santiago Giménez (31st/74th) and Ramiz Zerrouki (45th + 2) scored for the hosts. Pedro (83’/foul penalty) scored the goal for Lazio. In the Group E table, Feyenoord moved past the Italians with the win.
