Tuchel wants the title

“The Champions League title is always the most attractive title – and the hardest title to win in Europe,” Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel said after the round of 16 win against Lazio: “It’s probably the most important thing in the world “It’s the most difficult tournament to play. That’s why it has an incredible appeal.”

The 50-year-old Tuchel would of course like to say goodbye at the end of the season with the premier class title in Munich. “If we want to achieve that, then we have to think step by step. It is even conceivable that there could be another final between Bayern and Dortmund in London on June 1, 2024, after BVB won against PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday evening. Eleven years ago, Munich won the title at Wembley Stadium against BVB 2-1 after a late winning goal from Arjen Robben.
