Thomas Müller will lead FC Bayern Munich as captain after his corona infection in the Champions League game at Viktoria Pilsen.

The 33-year-old stands in for national soccer goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who is missing in the Czech Republic due to a shoulder injury.

Sven Ulreich will stand in for Neuer in the Munich goal. For the 34-year-old it is only the second season. The German record champions won the first leg against the Czech champions 5-0 in Munich a week ago and could ideally secure a ticket to the round of 16 with another win in the Doosan Arena.

After his forced break, Müller is on the offensive with Sadio Mané, Leroy Sané and Kingsley Coman. Due to injury, coach Julian Nagelsmann has to regroup the defense with Benjamin Pavard and Dayot Upamecano in the center and Noussair Mazraoui and Josip Stanisic on the full-back positions. Compared to the 2-2 draw in the Bundesliga top game at Borussia Dortmund, there are six changes in the Munich starting line-up.
