After FC Bayern’s 1-0 win at Manchester United, Harry Kane raved about his German employer on British television. The striker is aiming for big goals with the record champions.

Bayern striker After his successful return to England, Harry Kane raved highly about FC Bayern and expressed optimism about the future.

“Everyone has been incredible since I arrived at Bayern,” said Kane on British broadcaster TNT Sport after his team’s Champions League victory over Manchester United (1-0). “I have the feeling that there is more to come. I feel that I understand better and better what the coach wants. I feel comfortable here.”

Kane’s dream pass

It was the first time Kane played a club game in England since his move from Tottenham Hotspur. With his dream pass he set up Kingsley Coman’s goal at Old Trafford (71st minute).

“It was nice,” summed up the striker, who had already won the group with his team. “It’s always difficult when you’re at the top and have already qualified (for the round of 16), but we were fully motivated.” After the 1:5 defeat in the Bundesliga at Eintracht Frankfurt, something had to be made up for.

Big goals

Harry Kane demands even more from his team for the rest of the season. “We started the season well, but I have the feeling that we can step up a few gears,” said the England captain and stated that the title was our goal. “We have enough quality to go far in this competition. That is the goal, to win the Champions League. It will be difficult, but we have to improve. I believe we can reach a higher level.”

Next Monday the draw for the round of 16 will take place in Nyon, which will take place in February and March 2024. Before that, FC Bayern will face the in-form VfB Stuttgart in the top game of the Bundesliga on Sunday, who are third in the table and only one point behind second-placed Bayern.
