As expected, Eintracht Frankfurt will have to do without captain Sebastian Rode on his Champions League debut. The midfielder will be out on Wednesday evening (6.45 p.m. / DAZN) against Sporting Lisbon due to thigh problems and will be replaced by new signing Junior Dina Ebimbe.

Otherwise, coach Oliver Glasner can play with the same starting eleven as in the recent 4-0 win against RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga. Christopher Lenz starts again as a left-back, but the recently injured new signing Luca Pellegrini is back on the bench.
