Of the Korean manufacturer Samsung puts on the CES exhibition presented a large number of new models in Las Vegas. Fast data transfer

In order to supply the fast-reacting display with signals from the PC or gaming console, it supports DisplayPort 2.1, with which data can be transmitted twice as fast as with the previous 1.4 standard. According to Samsung, a refresh rate of 240 Hertz promises smooth images even with fast content.

The Odyssey series is complemented by the smaller model OLED G9 with a screen diagonal of 49 inches (124 centimeters) and a dual quad HD resolution with an aspect ratio of 32:9. Here, an OLED screen ensures that each pixel is controlled individually. With its response time of 0.1 milliseconds and a refresh rate of 240 Hertz, the monitor is also interesting for gamers.

Gaming hub on board

The new Samsung monitors also have a gaming hub on board. This allows games to be downloaded directly from the Internet via the cloud without the need for a PC.
